Generate excitement

I have been sewing since I was about 10 years old, which is more years ago than I'd care to think about. In 2003 my husband suggested that I upgrade my sewing machine from the one I purchased in 1975. So, I went to a sewing store near my home and bought a new machine. I brought it home, but realized it really wasn't any different from my old machine, so I took it back to the store. The salesman I spoke with said let me show you and embroidery/sewing machine. As soon as I saw the machine stitching out a design I was hooked. Then he showed me that if I purchased software to create my own designs by digitizing them my options would be unlimited. After I got my machine I stitched the designs that where built in to the machine, I went back about a month later and purchased the digitizing software. About 6 months after this purchase I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Digitizing designs for myself to stitch out was just the distraction I needed to keep me busy and sane while I was going through chemotherapy and then radiation therapy. I used that machine and software until 2017, my machine and my software had become obsolete by this time. The machine required special cards with the designs and a special converter box was required for this. My converter box broke several times and I kept putting it back together. I had been thinking about purchasing new software, but it meant I would need a new machine as well because the newer software on the market weren't compatible with the cards my machine required. So, in 2017 I decided I had to update my software. I went to my machine dealer and they happened to have the machine I'd been drooling over on sale. It was still a high price but when I looked into it, I found I qualified for payments at zero interest for 5 years. Sold! I brought home my new machine and was very excited to stitch the designs that are built in to the machine, but, I still wanted to create my own designs. So, 5 months later I went back to my dealer and purchased a top of the line software program. I now enjoy creating many designs for whatever occasion, season, etc. I want. I then decided to share my designs with others. I create my designs and stitch them to make sure they stitch the way I want them to. If, I'm happy with the results, I load them into my store to allow others to also enjoy my creations.
